Navigating through all the various public involvement resources can seem overwhelming. Watch the training video below for key frameworks, incorporating public involvement plans into grant funding applications, ideas of how to involve public members at each stage in research, and tips from public members!
It is recommended that all research incorporates the 6 UK Standards for Public Involvement as a core framework. The standards have been designed to improve quality of public involvement work. The standards describe what good public involvement looks like and encourage approaches and behaviours such as flexibility, sharing and learning and respect for each other.
