Doubling Down Not Ducking Out: Why Co-production of Research Matters Now

September 29 @ 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Overview
Learning and recommendations from the two-year Co-Production Futures Inquiry on improving co-produced and participatory research in UK HE.

Join us for this online webinar, where we’ll share our learning and sector-wide recommendations for improving the conditions for participatory and co-produced research in UK higher education. These insights draw on two years of collective intelligence gathering through the Co-Production Futures Inquiry.

About the webinar

In the webinar, we will reflect on our final report, which draws on submitted evidence, workshops, discussions with co-researchers and academics, a landscape review, and deliberations with our Inquiry members to highlight:

  • What ‘good’ co-production looks and feels like
  • Brilliant work and institutional initiatives already underway
  • Our strategies for change
  • Why participatory research is central to universities’ social value
  • Our case for action and what each part of the system – co-researchers, researchers, professional services, university leadership, funders, and government – can do next

We will share the joining link and more information via email closer to the time.

We hope you can join us!
