SUMMARY:Giving Black Social by Nourishment
DESCRIPTION:Giving Black Returns for 2026 \nThis Black History Month\, Nourishment is bringing back Giving Black for its fourth edition — a community campaign using culture\, creativity and collective action to raise awareness of sickle cell and encourage more young\, diverse people to give blood. \nNourishment is a Black British\, Gen Z-led community and cultural marketing agency connecting underrepresented audiences with arts and culture. Giving Black brings that mission into the health space\, combining blood donation\, fashion\, music and nightlife to make conversations around sickle cell and blood donation more accessible to a new generation. \n\nOn 15 October\, the Giving Black Social at Second Home\, Spitalfields will bring together 100–150 people for DJ sets\, games\, educational activities\, a panel discussion\, blood donor sign-ups and fashion. The evening will also raise funds for the Sickle Cell Society.
