My name is India Tunnard-Johnson, I am a PhD student at the Cicely Saunders Institute. My PhD aims to understand geographical variation in place of death for people with dementia. I am undertaking some interviews with bereaved carers of people with dementia who lived in a coastal area to explore what they think influenced where their loved one with dementia died.
I am looking for bereaved carers of people who died with dementia (3months – 3years ago) who lived in a coastal area to undertake an interview. The interview will explore what happened in the time before the person with dementia died.
